Tuesday Evenings - 7:30 PM
August 25 - October 13, 2026
Italian Community Center

Format: 8 weeks | 1.5 hours / week

Focus: Take your Italian off the worksheet and into real storytelling! Each week, we read one chapter of an Italian book together, working on translation, answering comprehension questions, and exploring regional geography, local traditions, and native idioms (modi di dire). Perfect for students ready to chat and read in a supportive group setting.

Prerequisites:  Direct continuation of "Beginners Italian". Designed for students who can already handle basic everyday interactions. You should feel comfortable:

- Introducing yourself (name, age, hometown, hobbies)
- Discussing daily routines and expressing likes/dislikes
- Using the present tense to describe people, placed and objects
- Asking and telling time, plus knowing basic calendar, colors and nationalities
- Using key question words (chi, cosa, dove, quando, quale, guanto) to sustain simple dialogues
